The community of Coushatta, Louisiana, is reeling from the sudden and tragic loss of Douglas Roberson, 22, who was fatally shot early Friday morning, March 27, 2026, on University Parkway in Natchitoches, Louisiana. At approximately 2:54 a.m. on the morning of March 27, Natchitoches Police officers responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the 3800 block of University Parkway. Despite immediate efforts from first responders to provide aid, Douglas was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by the Natchitoches Parish Coroner’s Office.
